At MiasPoodle, the health and well-being of our puppies are a top priority. The following is a general summary of the care we provide and the responsibilities of each puppy’s new family. Complete terms are included in the written puppy agreement.
Health at Transfer
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that each puppy is healthy and ready to join their new family. Puppies are monitored daily, eating independently, and showing no known signs of contagious illness at the time of transfer.
Available health and treatment records will be provided to the new family.
One-Year Limited Health Guarantee
Eligible puppies are covered by a one-year limited health guarantee for qualifying congenital or hereditary conditions. Coverage requirements, exclusions, veterinary documentation, and available remedies are explained in the signed puppy agreement.
Vaccinations and Deworming
Each puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming before going home. A record of the care received will be provided.
New families should establish care with a licensed veterinarian, continue the recommended vaccination and deworming schedule, and follow their veterinarian’s guidance regarding public exposure.
Estimated Adult Size and Coat Color
Adult weight, size, and coat color cannot be guaranteed. We may provide the parents’ weights and an estimated adult size, but genetics, nutrition, and other factors may affect a puppy’s development.
New Family Responsibilities
The new family is responsible for providing:
• Proper nutrition and fresh water
• Routine veterinary care
• A safe and clean living environment
• Gentle handling and appropriate supervision
• Continued vaccinations and preventive care
Toy Poodle puppies are small and require attentive care, regular meals, and a secure environment.
